Does the system hold up in strong wind?expand_more
Yes. Both the clip-on system and the high-tech adhesive system are designed for permanent outdoor use. The spring clips of the clip-on system grip the frame positively and hold securely at wind speeds up to force 8. The adhesive system uses an industrial double-sided adhesive that withstands high wind loads.
Will any discolouration remain after removal?expand_more
No – provided you follow the cleaning instructions supplied. Our adhesive is residue-free and leaves no marks or discolouration on painted or anodised frames. The bonding surface can then be cleaned simply with a damp cloth.
Can I still close the window completely?expand_more
Of course. The insect screen is fitted on the outside of the window frame and does not affect the sash or the seals. Windows and doors can be fully closed and opened at any time.
